  • The Fitness Center is open 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 5:15 to 8:15 p.m. Monday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and 5:15 to 8:15 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday. Bring towel, appropriate attire and a valid CSUDH student ID.
  • The Toro community Pride Unity Fest featuring music performances, art and more will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 16 in the University Sculpture Garden.
  • The Department of Theatre and Dance will host the opening night performance of “Quixote,” directed by Professor Bill DeLuca, at 8 p.m. April 17 inside the University Theatre.
  • The 5th Annual Pow Wow, an event honoring the indigenous people of the Americas, will be held 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. April 18 and 19 in the Sculpture Garden.
  • Relax in the Yoga Stress Management class 10:30 to 11 a.m. and 11 to 11:30 a.m. April 22 in the Sculpture Garden. Dress comfortably and bring your own yoga mat, though a limited number will be available for use.
  • The fourth annual CSDUH Earth Day event will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 22 on the East Walkway. For more information or to volunteer for the event or the Running Art competition, go to the Earth Day Facebook page or contact Cheyenne Cummings at ccummings@csudh.edu.
