ASI board positions still open for 2015-16.


  • The annual Welcome Week will take place throughout the day Sept. 1-3 on the East Walkway and in the Sculpture Garden.

  • Gamma Sigma is holding auditions for its Fall 2015 Icebreaker Concert Sept. 7-11. For more information, email Dsantos27@toromail.csudh.edu.

  • Latin dance classes are being held 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 8, 15 and 22 in the Loker Student Union Ballroom B.

  • Torozone will be hosting a FIFA15 Tournament noon to 2 p.m. Sept. 16 in the Torozone Game room. Spaces are limited.

  • “Poetry Idiots” will be featured at CSUDH’s Take the Mic open mic poetry event 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 17 in the Loker Student Union Palm Courtyard.

Darnell Martin played on the Toros men's basketball team until this past spring.

      Former California State University Dominguez Hills basketball forward Darnell Martin has signed to play professionally overseas.

      Martin, 24, will be playing for TV Salzkotten in Salzkotten, Germany. Martin arrived in Germany Aug. 15.

     Twenty-three days into his time as athletic director at Cal State University Dominguez Hills, Jeff Falkner envisions the next 10 years as the most pivotal years in the school’s history. Falkner took over as AD earlier this month, succeeding Maryalyce Jeremiah, who served as the interim AD since last November.
