  • The opening reception for the “Portrait of the Human Experience” art exhibitis 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28 in the University Art Gallery. The exhibit will continue to March 17.
  • A cupcake contest will be held at noon Thursday, Jan. 29 on the East Walkway. There will be cash price. For more information, call (310) 243-2074.
  • ASI will be hosting a Snow Day on Tuesday, Feb. 3 on the East Walkway.
  • Toro Productions will present Hip Hop Cardio with instructor Mychele Sims 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 3, 10 and 17 in Ballroom B of the Loker Student Union.
  • Join Toro Productions for a Noon Time Concert with Jodie Grayer 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4 in the Palm Courtyard.
  • Join the Woman’s Resource Center for “V-Day CSUDH: The Vagina Monologues 2015” production at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13 and Saturday, Feb. 14 in the University Theatre.
  • Join Toro Productions on a ski and snowboard trip to Big Bear 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 27, leaving from CSUDH. Cost is $55 for students and $75 for guests, faculty and staff. Sign up at the Torozone.
