The Associated Press, which heavily influences word usage at media outlets in this country and across the world, announced yesterday that, after years of contentious debate, it will now capitalize the B in Black if the word is used in a racial, ethnic or cultural context.

It only took them 14 months longer than your own CSUDH Bulletin to come up with the idea.
