Pumpkin Patch welcomes campus community

‘Tis the season for pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin pies, pumpkin spice pancakes and pumpkin spice candles.
OK, you get it, right? It’s pumpkin spice everything!
Although some of these pumpkin themed items might be overrated (except the pumpkin spice latte), something that will never become boring is a pumpkin patch.
A pumpkin patch is a place where, regardless of age, it’s guaranteed you’ll have a “gourd” time (pun intended).
For example, little kids can enjoy fair rides, pony rides or the petting zoo. And adults can release their inner child and carve a pumpkin, all while enjoying a pumpkin spice latte.
There are hundreds of pumpkin patches around Southern California, but the most popular one has been Pa’s Pumpkin Patch in Long Beach.
Pa’s Pumpkin Patch has been open for over 40 years.
They also have carnival-style foods and, yes, a wide array of pumpkins from which to choose. Parking is free, as is entrance to the patch.
